About LGY Training
The LGY Training Team plays a vital role in LGY’s achievements by partnering with stakeholders to drive coordinated learning that is strategic, measurable, and effective in advancing LGY's mission, goals, and objectives. The LGY Training Team mission is as follows:
Offer staff and stakeholders pertinent and practical training programs that enhance performance and efficiency in delivering exceptional service to Veterans and customers.
Create standardized training materials and templates to establish a consistent voice, tone, and style.
Identify, evaluate, and confirm training needs effectively.
Provide support or take the lead in developing new training resources.
Establish content management capabilities for training materials, including oversight of storage and review schedules for life cycle maintenance.
Conduct meaningful and impartial assessments of training effectiveness to enhance training efforts and collect valuable data to drive program decision-making.

LGY Training will be transitioning its intake process to ServiceNow to streamline customer experience and enhance data collection. External stakeholders will soon be able to submit requests for training and training support to LGY Training directly through ServiceNow. Once this feature is available, a link will be added below.
Available Training
Training is a structured, organized, and synchronized process, which can take the form of a program, course, curriculum, or regular instructional regimen, designed to bridge a knowledge or skill deficiency. As developed training is approved for external stakeholders, it will be posted under the corresponding section below. Links will open within a new tab and some may require a login.

Lender Program Participant Management (PPM) System On September 9, 2024, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Loan Guaranty Service (LGY) published Circular 26-24-18 to notify lenders of the introduction of the new PPM System. The lender PPM System is a robust self-service tool that will enable lenders to manage their profile information, submit underwriter applications, request upgrades to lender authority, apply for agent recognition, and handle renewals – all in one convenient location. LGY is pleased to offer a two-part webinar series aimed to support this transition. The webinar schedule with Webex attendee links and join by phone information is below. Please note, recorded presentations will be shared at a later date. To support this transition, LGY delivered a two-part webinar series on PPM Basics and PPM Tasks in September 2024. The webinar recordings, presentation material, FAQs, and user guides will be made available on this page in the coming weeks.
