A beta version of the Pre-Close API has been released to VA’s testing environment, known as Partner Integration (PINT) environment. This version covers pre-close feedback on single and two borrower purchase loans. Updated versions are expected to cover multiple borrower purchase loans, Interest Rate Reduction Refinancing Loans (IRRRLs), and Cash-out Refinance loans. Loan Origination System (LOS) providers and lenders can test this new capability, which will subsequently enable Lenders to originate and guaranty VA loans without leaving their LOS. The Loan Guaranty Service (LGY) has enhanced the LGY Virtual Agent to now provide keyword search. Utilizing this feature will direct you to relevant articles on the topic you search for. The Virtual Agent chatbot is accessible within the VA Customer Service Portal.

LGY 23.4.0 Release Notes posted on February 13, 2023
This informational webinar provides technology providers with information about new technology, capabilities and resources to leverage open APIs within the VA Home Loan Guaranty Program ecosystem.
Updates will include enhancements and system fixes to include, 1) updates to the Assigned Agent ID letter and 2) updates to the accuracy of the Certificate of Eligibility (COE).
Updates will include system enhancements that will allow appraisers, and WebLGY end users to view the builder’s contact information on Form 26-1805 when the builder’s ID number is entered and permit the issuance of Notice of Values (NOV) when the mobile or manufactured home liquidation indicators is NULL.
Updates will include the ability for end users to see uploaded documents immediately without the need to refresh the screen, permit lenders the ability to include surviving spouse information for appraisal requests and eliminate run-on pages within the Request for Determination of Reasonable Value form in WebLGY.
Updates will improve the Full File Loan Review (FFLR) letters, data field formatting issues, and will ensure duplicate deficiencies are no longer displayed while issuing a Notice of Value (NOV).
