Overseas Military Services Coordinators

VA Overseas Military Services Coordinators (OMSCs) are available to assist transitioning service members, U.S. Veterans living or working overseas, and their families and dependents with VA benefits.

For self-service options including claim status, updates to contact and payment information, document upload, and letter downloads, visit www.va.gov.

No matter where you live, Veterans and their families can always call MyVA toll-free at 800-698-2411 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please note, toll free charges may be incurred.

For active duty service members needing assistance with Benefits Delivery at Discharge (BDD) claims:

VA is excited to announce the introduction of Visitor Engagement Reporting Application (VERA) for overseas service members, Veterans, and their family members. Through VERA, virtual appointments can be conveniently scheduled to connect directly with a VA representative in the United States.  

  • Appointments are available between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. EST.
