VA Town Hall

Location: Lincoln County Courthouse, 112 Main Avenue South, Fayetteville, TN

Event: The Veterans Affairs Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (VA TVHS) and Nashville Regional Office (VBA RO) will host a town hall meeting to discuss plans to expand and improve the services it delivers to Veterans and host an open forum for questions with subject matter experts on hand to provide answers. Representatives from the Nashville Regional Office of the Veterans Benefits Administration will also be on hand to provide updates on VBA issues and to answer questions and offer personalized service to Veterans and their families.

Date and Time: Wednesday, November 6, 2019, 12:00pm - 3:00pm(CST)

Location: Mountain Home VA Medical Center, Lamont St & Veterans Way, Johnson City, TN 37604

Event: Town hall meetings give Veterans the opportunity to meet face-to-face with local VAMC leadership, ask questions concerning healthcare and initiatives, while receiving relevant information on new and upcoming services and projects. The meetings also give representatives from the Nashville VBA Regional Office a chance to provide personalized benefits assistance, to include claim and appeals status for Veterans and their dependents.

<h3><strong>Middle Tennessee State University Newcomers Briefing</strong><h3>

<p><strong>Date and Time: </strong>Thursday, August 22, 2019, 5:30pm to 8:30pm (CST)</p>

<p><strong>Location: </strong>MTSU James Union Building, 516 Alma Mater Drive, Murfreesboro, TN 37132</p>

<p><strong>Event: </strong>This event’s purpose is to educate and inform new veteran and dependent students regarding the available services on campus.  Federal, State and community agencies are also present regarding potential benefits they offer to assist our new veteran and dependent students. </p>
