Veterans Salute & Information Fair

Date and Time: Saturday, November 3, 2018, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (CST)

Location: Chattanooga’s Historic National Guard Armory, 1801 South Holtzclaw Avenue, Chattanooga, Tennessee

Event: Created to thank veterans and help them learn about benefits, job opportunities and support throughout our community, the Salute is coordinated by the Chattanooga Area Veterans Council (CAVC) and is open at no charge to all military veterans and their families. Learn about the latest Veteran Benefits as well as services, products and opportunities available throughout this area to our Military Veterans. VA staff will be onsite to assist with claims.

Expected participants: Veterans, Family members, Active Duty Military.

There will be free drinks, snacks and live entertainment. Additionally, door prizes will be given away to veterans every 15 minutes throughout the afternoon.


Date and Time: Saturday, November 10, 2018, 2:00 PM

Location: Harlinsdale Farms in Franklin, TN

Event: 09:00 AM Medals of Honor, will be kicking off their annual Boots for Troops 5K RUCK WALK RUN — leashed dogs and families welcome! VetFest will take place during and after the Medals of Honor Boots for Troops 5K RUCK WALK RUN and feature live entertainment, food vendors, Veteran organizations, Veteran-owned businesses, kid zone, prize giveaways, and much more!! VA Staff will be available to assist in taking claims or updating claim status.
