INTRODUCING VERA

Visitor Engagement Reporting Application (VERA)

Visitors seeking assistance from the Regional Office Public Contact Team are encouraged to schedule a virtual or in-person appointment on VERA. You will receive email confirmation of your appointment.

You may also request an in-person interview, a virtual interview, or a telephone interview by calling us directly at (615) 695-6122, and providing your:

  • Name
  • Contact information
  • Best time of day for contact
A VA representative will contact you within one business day to schedule an appointment time.

Additionally, you may also apply for benefits online through va.gov, send inquiries regarding claims by calling the VA National Call Center at 1-800-827-1000.

Documents related to your VA claim can be mailed to: U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Claims Intake Center, PO Box 4444, Janesville WI 53547-4444.

For Veteran Readiness and Employment participants, you can request an in-person appointment, or “Virtual Face-to-Face” appointment, by contacting your Veteran Readiness Counselor directly, by calling us at (615) 695-6372, or by sending an email to CER.VBANAS@va.gov, and providing your:

  • Name
  • Contact information
  • Best time of day for contact between 7:30am and 4:00pm

Veteran Rapid Retraining Assistance Program

On March 11, 2021, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) launched VRRAP for Veterans who have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Veterans participating in VRRAP can receive education and training for high-demand occupations, which is determined by the Commissioner of Labor Statistics. Veterans will receive up to 12 months of tuition and fees and a monthly housing allowance based on Post-9/11 GI Bill rates. To learn more about VRRAP and how to apply for the program, Veterans can visit www.va.gov. Veterans can also contact the Education Call Center at 888-442-4551 between 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST, Monday-Friday to speak with a VA education representative.
