In-person and Virtual Veterans Benefits Assistance Interviews with a Public Contact Specialist at the St. Louis Veterans Affairs Regional Office, St. Louis, MO are now available. To schedule a virtual video and/or telephone assistance interview, please call (314) 253-4389 during operating hours.

Effective July 27, 2021, masks are required to be worn by all individuals entering the Charles F. Prevedel Federal Building and in all common spaces within the building, to include elevators, restrooms, the security screening area, public contact and the first floor of the building.

Veterans can continue to interact with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) virtually for accessing benefits information online at or when filing a claim online at For claim-specific questions call 1-800-827-1000.
