Appointments for Interviews with Benefits Counselors
To ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic, Benefit Counselors are available by appointment only.
Benefit Counselors are available to meet with Veterans and their families face-to-face at our Regional Office, VA Central Iowa Health Care System, and Iowa City VA Health Care System Veterans also have the option to set up a telephone interview or virtual meeting via WebEx with a Benefits Counselor.

Virtual Benefits & Services Symposium for Faith-based, Non-Profit & Community Organizations
The Office of Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement (O&E) will host a Virtual Benefits & Services Symposium for Faith-based, Non-Profit & Community Organizations. This informative and educating symposium will allow faith-based and community leaders the opportunity to learn about VA Benefits and Services that may be available to Veterans within their congregation, their organization, and the communities they serve. Presenters from VBA, VHA, NCA, as well as, VA Central Office will share important information on topics like benefits, healthcare services, memorial services and direct resources for the faith-based communities. This event will educate and empower leaders from these community organizations with benefit and service knowledge that they can utilize to assist our Nation’s Veterans.
