Mr. Emmett O’Meara was appointed Acting Director of the Los Angeles VA Regional Benefit Office on November 26, 2017. He has also served as the Assistant Director of the Los Angeles VA Regional Benefit Office since April 4, 2016. Mr. O'Meara is responsible for administering a range of benefits to the Veterans and their families living in the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles office. Prior to this appointment, Mr. O’Meara served as the Veterans Service Center Manager at the Los Angeles VA Regional Benefit Office. Mr. O’Meara has over 17 years of experience in civil and military service.
Jamie Cannon became the Veterans Service Center Manager in June 2016. In this role, she is responsible for the administration of the compensation program. Prior to this appointment, Jaime was the Assistant Veterans Service Center Manager at the Los Angeles VA Regional Office. Ms. Cannon has over 15 years of experience in civil service.
Woodrow Anthony Roeback III became the Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Officer at the Los Angeles VA Regional Office in July 2016. He previously served as Officer-in-Charge at the Las Vegas Outbased Office of the Reno VA Regional Office, Chief of VR&E in the Reno Regional Office, and Administrative Officer for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. Mr. Roeback is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He has over 30 years of experience in civil and military service.
Eric Murdock was appointed Support Services Division Chief at the VA Los Angeles Regional Office in August 2017. In this position, he is responsible for all financial and administrative activities for the Los Angeles Regional Office. Prior to this appointment, he was the Assistant Finance Officer at the St. Louis VA Healthcare System. Mr. Murdock comes to the Los Angeles Regional Office with over 10 years of experience in financial operations. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Harris Stowe State University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Webster University. Mr. Murdock has over 10 years of experience in civil service.
