Visitor Engagement Reporting Application (VERA)

The Pittsburgh VBA RO is open for in person or virtual services, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Visitors seeking assistance from the Regional Office Public Contact Team are encouraged to schedule a virtual or in-person appointment on VERA. You will receive email confirmation of your appointment.

Virtual LGBTQ+ Veteran Outreach Symposium: Celebrating Pride and Informing the Community

Event: In recognition of Pride Month, this symposium will celebrate LGBTQ+ service in military, as well as Veteran contributions to our Nation. Guest speakers will educate and empower attendees about the benefits and services available to them and highlight VA outreach efforts to bridge the gap between the VA and LGBTQ+ Veterans, service members, family members, caregivers, survivors, their advocates and advocate groups. The symposium will also provide information on VA benefits, to include filing a VA disability claim online, and the Sergeant First Class (SFC) Heath Robinson Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act.

Event: Learn more about the PACT Act and your Veteran benefits. Together, the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (PA DMVA) and federal VA staff will host a presentation to provide Veterans and their advocates with a convenient platform to learn and ask questions about eligibility and applying for benefits related to the PACT Act. The new PACT Act law expands VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances.

Erie Veteran Resource Fair & Stand Down

Event: The Erie VA Medical Center and Veterans Leadership Program join forces to bring an all-inclusive Veteran-centric event to Erie featuring free services for Veterans and informative resources featuring VA services and additional Veteran-centric organizations. Veterans, family members, and caregivers can enjoy a free breakfast buffet while learning about the many services available to Veterans within the community.

VA Resources include:

  • Erie VAMC Health Care Clinicians (free blood pressure screenings for Veterans eligible for VA care)
  • VA Eligibility & Enrollment Representatives
  • VA Behavioral Health Clinic Staff
  • VA Women's Health Program
  • Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Representatives to provide information regarding claims and benefits
