Situation Update

The Portland Regional Office remains closed during the construction remodeling phase.  However, effective July 12, 2021, we are taking, in-person interviews, by appointment only.  Space is very limited so walk-in appointments cannot be supported at this time.

Face masks/coverings are no longer mandatory in the building or internal work areas.  Face masks/coverings are recommeded for public facing activities.

During a VA-declared emergency:

If you cannot make it to work and are unable to contact your supervisor, then go to the VA Employee Emergency Information website to post information about your status during the emergency situation.

Employees can access their https://alerts7.athoc.com/SelfService/vaeaas (EAAS) account to update their contact information.

What is VA Emergency Alerting and Accountability System (EAAS) is used to: 

  • Send mass notifications to employees and affiliates during an emergency
  • Account for employees in an event of an emergency
  • Provide leadership full reports of employees’ safety status for accountability purposes
