Event: Hilo: A VA Benefits Counselor is permanently stationed at the Hilo VA Office. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm HST with last customer seen at 3:30pm, except every first and third Wednesday of each month when the Counselor is scheduled to be in Kona. The Benefits Counselor will be available to answer VA Non-Healthcare related benefit questions and assist with the claims process.
Event: Kona: Effective November 20, 2018, the Hilo Office VA Benefits Counselor will be at the Kona Vet Center every first and third Tuesday of each month from 10:00am to 2:00 pm HST, with the last customer seen no later than 1:30pm. The Benefits Counselor will be available to answer VA Non-Healthcare related benefit questions and assist with the claims process. Customers will be seen on a first come basis.
Effective January 22, 2019, a VA Benefits Counselor will be permanently assigned to the Maui Vet Center.
Location: Maui Vet Center, 157 Ma'a St., Kahului, Hawaii 96732
Dates and Times: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm HST for walk-in visits. The Benefits Counselor will cover Maui County (Maui, Molokai and Lanai) and will be available to answer VA Non-Healthcare related benefit questions and assist with the claims process.
