Louisville, KY 40202
Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm

Some regional offices have re-opened with limited hours and services. We may be screening visitors due to COVID-19. For your safety and convenience we continue to offer help online and by phone.

The Louisville VA Regional Office is open for in-person appointments between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. EST Monday through Friday.  Veterans requesting benefits appointments should call (502) 566-4356 to schedule an appointment.

Chapter 31 participates should contact their Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor to schedule an appointment. New applicants to the Chapter 31 program can call (502) 566-4453 for additional information.

All visitors will be required to wear a mask.  Upon entering the lobby of the VA, visitors will be asked some screening questions to minimize the risk of COVID exposure.  Visitors will also be asked to physically distance from others.  Some seats in our lobby area will be marked off to allow for appropriate spacing between visitors.  Due to the limited seating, we are asking visitors to minimize the number of people they bring with them; however, we understand that some visitors require a caretaker to assist them.

Veterans may also continue to get information about benefits or file a claim for benefits by visiting our website at Veterans with claims specific or other questions may request information via the Inquiry Routing and Information System (IRIS) at or via telephone by dialing 1-800-827-1000.
