14 - 15. Limb Reconstruction
When a surgeon documents that the member meets one or two of the surgical criteria below, the member is eligible for a TSGLI benefit for limb reconstruction:

The bony injury requires grafting to reestablish stability and enable mobility of the limb |

A soft tissue defect |
The soft tissue defect requires grafting/flap reconstruction to reestablish stability |

A vascular injury |
The vascular injury requires vascular reconstruction to restore blood flow and support bone and soft tissue regeneration |
| |
A nerve injury |
The nerve injury requires nerve reconstruction to allow for motor and sensory restoration and muscle re-enervation |
