Converting Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance Coverage

You have 120 days following separation from service to convert your SGLI coverage to an individual policy.

You may choose one of the participating conversion companies.  You will need to provide the company with the SGLI conversion notice and a copy of your DD-214, NGB-22, separation orders or Final Leave and Earning Statement.
