Medal of Honor Tribute
We honor U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Laszlo Rabel. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for actions performed in Vietnam fifty years ago, on November 13, 1968.

Event: Hilo: A VA Benefits Counselor is permanently stationed at the Hilo VA Office. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm HST with last customer seen at 3:30pm, except every first and third Wednesday of each month when the Counselor is scheduled to be in Kona. The Benefits Counselor will be available to answer VA Non-Healthcare related benefit questions and assist with the claims process.
Event: Kona: Effective November 20, 2018, the Hilo Office VA Benefits Counselor will be at the Kona Vet Center every first and third Tuesday of each month from 10:00am to 2:00 pm HST, with the last customer seen no later than 1:30pm. The Benefits Counselor will be available to answer VA Non-Healthcare related benefit questions and assist with the claims process. Customers will be seen on a first come basis.
