S-DVI provides up to $10,000 of life insurance coverage to Veterans who separated from service on or after April 25, 1951 under other than dishonorable conditions.
Memorial Day Ceremonies
Join with us as we honor Service members who died while on active duty.

Location: Bismarck AMVETS Club, 2402 Railroad Ave, Bismarck, ND
Event: Join us and the Fargo VA Medical Center for a joint town hall meeting and claims clinic where we will share information, listen to your feedback, and answer questions on VA disability compensation benefits, pension benefits, vocational rehabilitation and employment benefits, and health programs. Claims clinic starts at 4:30pm and the town hall meeting starts at 5:30pm.
Expected Participants: Veterans, their families, and survivors.
The Pensacola nonprofit foundation HER (Honor, Empower and Rebuild) supports projects for female Veterans. Proceeds from the 5K run will help rehabilitate a residence for female Veterans.
A planned unaccompanied burial for U.S. Army Capt. Larry Casey, a Vietnan Veteran, was attended by his family and other mourners after word spread through social media.
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian announced the five finalists for the design of the National Native American Veterans Memorial.
Veteran and WWII Navy pilot Bob Barger graduated from the University of Toledo 68 years after he left college. Barger, who is 96 years old, received an associate's degree.
