The Pittsburgh Regional Office delegates a representative to conduct regularly occurring outreach at local VA Medical Centers in the Pittsburgh area, as described below:
Location: University Drive, Main building, 1st floor (Next to the Patient Advocate, main floor)
When: Every Wednesday | 8:00am-4:30pm
Target Audience: All Veterans
Location: Aspinwall, Building 69 (Domiciliary)
When: 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month | 8:00am-4:30pm
Target Audience: Homeless Veterans, CWT participants, Domiciliary Residents
Location: Aspinwall, Building 51 (Room 1A117 in the B hall of 1 South)
When: 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month | 8:00am-4:30pm
Target Audience: Hospitalized and Hospice Veterans

State Representative Gainey is hosting the first annual Veterans Resource Fair, featuring resume development, career assistance and support, mental health resources, and homeless assistance.
Representatives from VBA will be available to provide information regarding compensation benefits.

Adaptive sports and yoga classes at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital is helping a group of Tampa Bay area Veterans heal from physical and emotional injuries.
A memorandum of understanding with the Mescalero Apache Tribe opens doors for VA to make home loans through the Native American Direct Loan Program to Veterans living on trust lands.
Project Healing Waters works with disabled Veterans by teaching and guiding them while fly-fishing and tying flies. Equipment and trips are provided at no costs.
