The Yellow Ribbon 333rd Military Police event will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 and Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 8am to 4pm in Farmingdale, NY. Reservists deploying on Title 10 orders in support of OEF/OIF will receive a series of briefings to include VA benefits eligibility and application instruction, prior to their departure and following their return. We will also conduct registration for the eBenefits portal. During the brief, following their deployment, service members may also submit claims for conditions incurred or aggravated during their active duty tour.
The Vietnam Veterans Information Day event will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 9am to 3pm at the Northport VAMC, Building 200, The Pavillion. This is an outreach event for all Veterans, with a focus on Vietnam Veterans. Information will be provided in many areas to include eligibility and application for VA benefits. We will conduct eBenefits registration and answer questions regarding any pending claims with our office.
We honor Marine Corps Sgt. Darrell Cole, who received the Medal of Honor for his actions at Iwo Jima. The USS Cole guided missile destroyer was named for Sgt. Cole.
