Executive Director: Charles L. Moore Jr.
Mr. Charles L. Moore Jr. was appointed as Executive Director of the Nashville Regional Office in March 2019. As the Executive Director, Mr. Moore is responsible from administering a broad range of VA benefits and services to approximately 474,000 Veterans and their families residing in Tennessee. Mr. Moore is responsible for providing executive leadership and direction to approximately 1000 employees within Tennessee. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Moore was an Assistant Director at the Cleveland Regional Office, a position he occupied since 2016.

Assistant Director: Travis E. Kraft
Mr. Travis E. Kraft was appointed as Assistant Director in August 2011. He shares the responsibility for administering benefits and services to a Veteran population of about 474,000 across Tennessee and Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. The Nashville Regional Office administers approximately $1.4 billion in annual federal benefits. These benefits include compensation, pension, and Veteran Readiness and Employment. In addition, he shares responsibility for the supervision of one of ten National Contact Centers providing customer service to clients nationwide. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Kraft served as the Veterans Service Center Manager at the Nashville Regional Office from August 2009 to August 2011. He previously served as an Assistant Veterans Service Center Manager at the Nashville Regional Office and as a Management Analyst at the Southeast District Office.


Assistant Director: Angela Odom
Ms. Angela Odom was appointed as Assistant Director in February 2020. She shares the responsibility for administering benefits and services to a Veteran population of about 474,000 across Tennessee and Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. The Nashville Regional Office administers approximately $1.4 billion in annual federal benefits. These benefits include compensation, pension, and Veteran readiness and employment. In addition, she shares responsibility for the supervision of one of ten National Contact Centers providing customer service to clients nationwide.  Most recently, Ms. Odom served as Veterans Service Center Manager at the Nashville Regional Office since March 2012. She began her VA career in the St. Petersburg Regional Office as a Veterans Service Representative. She previously served as an Assistant Veterans Service Center Manager at the St. Petersburg Regional Office.

Veterans Service Center Manager: Dene Davis
Ms. Dene Davis was appointed as the Veterans Service Center Manager at the Nashville VA Regional Office in October 2020.  As the VSCM, she has the day-to-day operational responsibility of approximately 480 employees administering VBA’s Compensation benefits.  Most recently, Ms. Davis served as the Assistant Veterans Service Center Manager at the New York VA Regional Office since April 2015.  She started her career at the Winston-Salem VA Regional Office in 2008, as a Rating Veterans Service Representative.  Ms. Davis also worked at VBA Central Office in Washington, D.C., as a Management Analyst with the Office of Field Operations.

Veterans Readiness and Employment Officer: S. Tonna Mustian
Ms. S. Tonna Mustian was appointed to the VR&E Officer position at the Nashville VA Regional Office in March 2016, where she leads a staff of 32 employees and is responsible for overseeing VR&E benefits to more than 3,000 Veterans. Ms. Mustian started her career in 2003 as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at Salt Lake City VA Regional Office, After six years in the field, she served four years with Central Office as part of the Quality Assurance Review Team. Ms. Mustian returned to the field in 2013 as the Assistant VR&E Officer at the Nashville VA Regional Office before moving to the VR&E Officer position.

Benefit Eligibility Support Team Manager: Stephanie Hall (Acting)
Ms. Stephanie Hall was detailed as the Acting Benefit Eligibility Support Team (BEST) Manager in November 2023.  In October 2020, the Nashville Regional Office became one of eight sites nationwide selected to process Veteran benefit adjustments, required benefit reviews, and unique eligibility decisions for the Nation. Ms. Hall provides operational oversight of the approximately 140 employees’ responsible for processing Compensation benefit adjustments.  Prior to this detail, she served as a Supervisory Management Analyst with the Southeast District Office in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Hall began her career at the Nashville Regional Office in 2008 as a Legal Administrative Specialist in the National Contact Center and held positions of increasing responsibility during her tenure in Nashville and the Southeast District Office.  Ms. Hall is a Marine Corps Veteran.

Support Services Division Chief: Darrell Jacobs
Mr. Darrell Jacobs was appointed as the Support Services Division (SSD) Chief for the Nashville Regional Office (RO) in December 2018. The Nashville SSD supports the RO with budget, payroll, facilities, privacy, records management, and Veterans payments living within the state of Tennessee. The Nashville SSD supports close to 1000 Veteran Benefits Administration (VBA) employees located in 7 Federal facilities and multiple other locations throughout the state of Tennessee.  Mr. Jacobs began his VBA career in August 2010 as a Veteran Service Representative at the Nashville RO, in August 2015 he moved to the Denver RO as a Veteran Claims Examiner training newly hired VBA employees. He returned to the Nashville RO in April 2017 as a manager before moving to SSD.

National Contact Center Manager: John D. McDonald
Mr. John D. McDonald was selected as the Nashville National Call Center Manager in June 2019. He was previously a coach in the Cleveland National Call Center. He is responsible for overseeing a staff of approximately 500 employees who are tasked with providing timely and accurate telephone service to Veterans, Servicemembers, their families and survivors who call the toll-free hot line at 1-800-827-1000. John is also an Army Veteran.
