Darryl Brady was appointed Director of the Jackson RO in September 2013. He is responsible for administering benefits and services to approximately 227,335 Veterans, Servicemembers, their families and survivors in Mississippi. Of those Veterans, currently 35,271 receive monthly benefits. He is also responsible for providing Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment services, placement assistance, and independent living assistance to service-disabled Veterans in Mississippi. Mr. Brady started his VA career in 1986 at the Chicago RO.
Thomas O. Sanders was appointed to this position in March 2012. Prior to his appointment, he was Assistant Director of the San Juan RO. Mr. Sanders began his VA career in 1984 at the Atlanta RO as a File Clerk in the Adjudication Division. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1974 to 1984.
Steve Gabris was appointed to this position in April 2012. Mr. Gabris previously was the Staff Assistant for the Huntington RO, where he served since June 2010. He was Supervisor for the Development Resource Center at the Roanoke RO from 2006 to 2010. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1991 to 1995.
Don R. Taylor was appointed to this position in March 2002. He is also responsible for day-to-day operations of providing VR&E services, placement assistance, and independent living assistance to service-disabled Veterans in Mississippi. He began his VA career in 1980 at the Jackson RO.
