Event: Join us for a claims clinic where Veterans can submit a disability compensation claim, submit evidence and speak to a claims processor. We will share information, answer questions on VA benefits, listen to feedback, help with registering for an eBenefits account, assist with vocational rehabilitation and employment claims, and speak with Regional Loan Center representatives.

Event: Participate with the annual 'Houston Salutes American Heroes' Veterans Day celebration.The day will consist of the AT&T Job & Resource Fair that will be on-site to recruit and offer employment resources for veterans from 30+ corporations; the US Family Health Plan Health Fair, offering free health screenings and flu shots to veterans; a ceremony to salute our veterans and military personnel, with a notable public figure delivering a keynote address, dignitaries, 21-gun salute. The ceremony will be followed by the Veterans Day Parade which will include thousands of, military organizations, ROTC leaders, marching bands and veterans of all eras. Today we honor James Gleason, who survived a premature birth to serve the United States during WWII. He was 90 when he died at his Clearwater, FL home last week.
Teaching Veterans the art of beekeeping provides them with useful skills and helps heal mental scars with a form of 'agritherapy'.
VA ID cards are coming in 2017 and until then, Veterans can print a "Veteran Proof of Service Letter" from their eBenefits account.
