Will Streitberger 

Hartford Regional Office Director: William (Will) Streitberger

William (Will) Streitberger was appointed Director of the Hartford Regional Office in December 2013. As Director, William is responsible for administering roughly $25,000,000 per month in compensation and pension benefits to approximately 23,420 veterans and their dependents living in the state of Connecticut. He is also responsible for providing Vocational Rehabilitation Services, placement assistance and Independent Living Services to the disabled Veteran population of Connecticut.

Prior to Will’s appointment as Director of the Hartford Regional Office, he served as the Deputy Director of the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Operations Center in the Office of Field Operations. He was responsible for leading the business-operating model to support the implementation and sustainment of VBA Transformation Initiatives effecting People, Process, and Technology business processes and policy, and training in support of the Agency Priority Goals (APGs) to increase operational efficiency and productivity, improve quality, expand stakeholder access to benefits and services, and eliminate Veteran homelessness.

 

Dr. Nykeisha Moore-Grant 

Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Officer: Dr. Nykeisha Moore-Grant

Dr. Nykeisha Moore-Grant took this position in July 2013. Dr. Moore-Grant previously worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor since October 2009. In her current position, Dr. Moore-Grant leads a staff of employees who assist Veterans in finding suitable employment and living independently.

 

Jessica Maki 

Veterans Service Center Manager: Jessica Maki

Jessica Maki was appointed to this position in July 2012. She is responsible for the overall management of Compensation and Pension benefits and services to Veterans, Servicemembers, their families and dependents in Connecticut. Ms. Maki began her VA career in Washington, D.C., as a Management Analyst with the Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Service.
