The Buffalo Regional Office is one of 57 offices providing benefits, such as Compensation & Pension, Education, Veteran Readiness & Employment Services, Loan Guaranty, and Insurance.



Of the five VBA benefits programs, the Buffalo Regional Office employees administer three directly to our customers: Compensation & Pension, Education, and Veteran Readiness & Employment Services. However, questions on these benefits or briefings for new Veterans are conducted on all 5 VBA programs. For the Insurance benefit, all services are provided by the Philadelphia VAROIC. The Loan Guaranty program has 9 loan centers across the country. For New York Veterans, Manchester is the Regional Loan Center. Veterans are encouraged to call us at 1-800-827-1000 and if necessary we will direct the call to the specialized processing centers.
